Sonali started Athena Law––a grassroots legal practice in downtown Vancouver––to meet the need for affordable unbundled legal services in family and wills and estates law.

She's a true believer in collaboration, and her strengths helpfully lie in her ability to connect with others. She works with each of her clients to provide tailored services that meet their individual needs. She also maintains an abundance mindset that is central to Everyone Legal Clinic's philosophy of service.

Sonali's partnered with many Metro Vancouver organizations to provide people with free financial and legal literacy. She helps her clients move past their legal problems by way of flat-fee and “low bono” billing models.

Outside of work, Sonali is actively involved with Access Pro Bono's Wills Clinic. She's Co-Chair for Collaborative Divorce Vancouver, and she sits on the Board for the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch’s Unbundling Legal Services Subsection. She's also a regular presenter for the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC and Legal Aid BC.
