Rani, a multilingual lawyer, has a diverse educational and cultural background. He obtained his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Thompson Rivers University, and he established his virtual law firm, Byblos Law Corporation, in 2024.

Rani started his business consulting career with Ernst & Young. After several years of experience, he founded the BC Family Business Center (FBC), and provided business consulting services to small family businesses in Metro Vancouver. He also designed and presented a free seminar/webinar for Small Business BC, and educated small business owners on succession planning and the transfer of a family business from founders to the second generation. Rani also taught business and economics courses at several universities in North America and the Middle East.

Rani enjoys collecting fossils, hunting, and listening to French classical music during his free time.
