Tesolin is originally from Toronto, and she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario before beginning her legal journey at the Allard School of Law at UBC.

During her time at Allard Law, Tesolin volunteered with the Law Students Legal Advice Program, taking on the roles of Clinic Head and phone line operator. After graduating law school, Tesolin articled with the Everyone Legal Clinic to further her commitment to provide affordable legal services to low and modest income British Columbians, which she continues to embody in her private practice.

Outside of law, Tesolin enjoys painting (particularly oil painting), cooking, and taking care of her many plants.
