Maral Angha
Maral has over eleven years of experience as a litigator practicing general civil litigation and insurance defense. She has conducted trials in BC Supreme Court, and has appeared before various administrative tribunals. She was also a PTLC instructor with the Law Society of BC.
Over the last decade, Maral has gained experience in knowledge management and innovation, in professional development and in helping junior lawyers and articling students to navigate their legal education and career paths. Maral has designed and developed course materials, conducted numerous legal education seminars, and supported lawyers and students in developing their legal research, writing and advocacy skills.
Before becoming a lawyer, Maral was a public legal educator and a teacher. She planned, developed and facilitated various training workshops, and created educational tool kits to help front-line non-profit workers to find legal referral solutions for their clients.
Maral is passionate about teaching, legal education, access to justice, and giving back to the legal community.
