Roch Beauvais (he/him)
Roch completed his JD at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC and he is proud to serve communities throughout BC. He currently resides on the Lower Mainland, with regular visits to the Sunshine Coast.
While Roch’s family is Mohawk from Kahnawake, he was raised in Halfmoon Bay on the Sunshine Coast. His grandfather was an activist, advocating for hunting and fishing rights as well as comprehensive land claims. These family connections have informed his interest in diverse areas of law, and as the descendant of residential school survivors, he is committed to contributing to meaningful change.
During his time at law school, he served as a student clinician at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. In his free time, Roch enjoys gaming, trying new air fryer recipes, spending time with family and taking care of his growing collection of cacti. He aspires to live in a pet-friendly place one day so he can own a cat or two.
