Erin earned her law degree from the University of Victoria, and was called to the BC bar in 2013. 

Erin has worked at legal non-profit organizations in Vancouver and Victoria for over a decade in various capacities as a legal advocate, lawyer, program manager, and co-Executive Director. She has represented individual and organizational clients before various courts and administrative tribunals, such as the BC Human Rights Tribunal, Residential Tenancy Branch, BC Utilities Commission, and Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal. Erin has specialized expertise in income and disability assistance and residential tenancy matters, and has practiced in the areas of human rights, administrative, and regulatory law. She also co-authored a large systemic complaint to the BC Ombudsperson regarding the accessibility of provincial income and disability benefits, and has conducted training and education workshops on issues related to systemic discrimination and poverty. 

Erin is currently a staff lawyer at Access Pro Bono, where she manages the Roster Program, which provides free legal representation services to clients with low incomes. She also supervises articling clinicians with the Everyone Legal Clinic on residential tenancy matters. Prior to joining Access Pro Bono, Erin worked at Together Against Poverty Society, BC Public Interest Advocacy Centre, Disability Alliance BC, and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. She currently serves on the board of directors of PovNet, an online anti-poverty advocacy community.
