Originally from Chandigarh, India, Gurtej holds both an LLB and a BEng (Information Technology). He was called to the bar in India in 2016 and in BC in 2024. Before moving to Canada, he practiced law in India in areas such as consumer protection, real estate, banking, and insolvency and bankruptcy.

Gurtej completed his articles with the Everyone Legal Clinic, focusing on assisting individuals with everyday legal problems. He has also received mediation and arbitration training from the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of British Columbia. He volunteers with Amici Curiae, helping self-represented individuals understand legal procedures and complete paperwork.

Passionate about solving complex legal problems, Gurtej is dedicated to providing exceptional legal service with expertise. Using a client-centered approach, he places a strong emphasis on understanding each client’s unique needs and goals.

Outside of work, Gurtej finds joy in cooking, hiking and spending quality time with friends and family.
