Geomar earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thompson Rivers University and is proud to serve communities in Metro Vancouver, where he was raised and currently resides with his family.

During his time in law school, Geomar demonstrated a commitment to leadership and community service. As co-president of the Thompson Rivers University Christian Legal Fellowship, he guided a group of dedicated law students striving to balance their pursuit of meaningful legal careers with their spiritual values. He also contributed to Pro Bono Students Canada by creating a comprehensive package of legal educational materials for a local settlement organization, equipping new immigrants with essential knowledge about their workplace rights.

Geomar has travelled and lived in many places around the world, including the United States, China, the United Kingdom, and Hawaii. His diverse international experiences have shaped his deep appreciation for the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion. He believes that fostering access to justice requires cultural competence and the ability to advocate effectively for clients from all backgrounds.

A second-generation immigrant from Hong Kong, Geomar draws on his personal experiences as a visible minority to empower individuals, and to level the playing field for those who have historically faced systemic barriers within the legal system.

In his free time, Geomar enjoys staying active, reading, trading in the stock market, spending time with friends and family, and taking care of his collection of houseplants.
