Andy graduated with a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023, and a BA in International Relations and Ethics, Society and Law from the University of Toronto in 2020.

Throughout law school, Andy actively volunteered with public interest organizations including Pro Bono Students Canada, community legal clinics and the Human Rights Legal Support Centre in Toronto. By assisting disadvantaged individuals to navigate the Canadian legal system, Andy developed an interest in general civil litigation, and a commitment to addressing individuals’ everyday legal issues.

Growing up in China, Andy can speak both Mandarin and English fluently. Having moved back to Vancouver where he attended high school, Andy is now eager to apply his legal skills and serve the local community, especially the traditionally underrepresented Chinese community by providing culturally competent and effective legal services.

Outside the world of law, Andy can often be found hiking in the North Shore mountains, and enjoying the spectacular nature that Vancouver has to offer.
