Tesolin is originally from Toronto, and she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario, majoring in English and History. She began her legal journey at the Allard School of Law at UBC.

During her time at Allard Law, Tesolin volunteered with the Law Students Legal Advice Program, taking on the roles of Clinic Head and phone line operator. It was at LSLAP that she discovered her passion for access to justice, fuelling her commitment to provide affordable legal services to low and modest income British Columbians. This dedication led her to choose articling at the Everyone Legal Clinic, where she could actively contribute to making legal assistance more accessible and approachable.

Outside of law, Tesolin enjoys painting (particularly oil painting), cooking, and taking care of her many plants.
