
Rani El Khatib (he/him)
Rani graduated with a JD from Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law this past spring. He's articling in Kamloops, and fulfilling his dream of becoming a community lawyer who serves people and small family businesses locally.
Rani is a multilingual professional with a diverse educational and cultural background. He's fluent in English, French and Arabic. He was born and raised in Lebanon, and he lived in five different countries before immigrating to Canada in 2016.
He has more than 10 years of business, economics and management consulting experience. Both his Bsc from American University of Beirut and his MSc from the University of Texas at Austin are interdisciplinary degrees that bridge science, engineering, business, economics and policy.
Rani started his business consulting career with EY – Business Advisory Services. After several years there, he founded the BC Family Business Centre, and provided business consulting services to small family businesses in Metro Vancouver.
During his free time, Rani enjoys collecting fossils, hunting and listening to French classical music.
