We've been so busy over October and November that we forgot to tell the world that we were awarded the 2023 American Legal Technology Award for Access to Justice (in the Legal Aid category) at the Clio Conference in Nashville on October 8.

Everyone Legal Clinic was selected to receive the American Legal Technology Award for Access to Justice for its innovative use of emerging legal technologies to foster a more inclusive and culturally responsive justice system in British Columbia.

The Award's 28 judges recognized ELC's first-year accomplishments in increasing the diversity of BC's legal professionals, building new capacity for legal aid service provision, and serving clients from underserved BC communities.

We're happy to share this honour with our loyal tech partners Qase, Appara, Clio, AvvyPro, AltFee and Thomson Reuters (the first five being BC-based tech companies), and collectively celebrate the award as a homegrown success story. Go Canada go!
