Carolyn Belleau (she/her)
Carolyn is from the Esketemc reserve 50km south of Williams Lake. She’s proud to be from the Interior-Cariboo region, and to call Williams Lake her hometown. She attended law school at UVic, and was one of the first graduates of the law school’s JD/JID program in May 2022.
After graduation, Carolyn enrolled in the Everyone Legal Clinic with a plan to offer affordable legal services to underserved communities in and around the Interior-Cariboo. She is basing her articles in Williams Lake, and operates an approachable and accessible legal practice that aims to help rural British Columbians who would otherwise have limited or no access to quality legal counsel.
In her free time, Carolyn likes to hike and walk her pets on trails around her hometown. She enjoys watching movies, and loves to write stories that may one day appear on the big screen. Keep an eye out for a Carolyn Belleau screenplay in the future!
