Tina obtained her JD from the University of Manitoba, and her BA in Political Science from UBC. She has valuable experience assisting low-income clients and small businesses by virtue of her time volunteering with several community legal clinics, including Access Pro Bono’s Residential Tenancy Program, the UBC Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, and the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic. She has also advocated for women’s equality and land rights in South Africa with the Canadian Bar Association’s Young Lawyers International Program.

A first-generation university student, Tina was motivated to pursue a career in law by social inequality and human rights issues. She is excited to increase access to justice for all British Columbians, while articling in her home community of Richmond.

In her free time, Tina enjoys cycling, running, taking road trips and watching scary movies.
